Monthly Meetings 2006

Our Supporters

The February 2007 Monthly Meeting Theme was - Love and Hate

We are still not back in the Library but Laurier University has allowed us to continue useing one of their class rooms in a building immediately next to the library. As soon space is available we will be back in the Brantford Public Library.


     Abigale Told a story she created and has told to her siblings about a Castle and the efforts required to return it to a pink state after a series of misfortunes.

     Hugh Sutherland Told the story of Reomeo and Juliet but added some historic background relating the to stories orgin.

     Paul WestbrookeReferenced a segment of the a book about the Black Donnelly's

     Barbara Sisson Recited a poem "My Skunk Stinky" from the book "Don't be so Persnickety"

     Adam Verheyen Related an article satirically about the fact that the average human body contains enough iron to make a three-inch nail and enough carbon to make 900 pencils as well as other interesting points of view.

     Tolla Henry Told a story by I. Calvino, about a King and his bequest after his death relating to his three daughters and how it affected his son.
